Principal - Roebuck Elementary School 

 

Qualifications:  

 

 

Performance Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders.
  2. Plan, organize, and direct implementation of all school activities.
  3. Prepare and administer the school budget and supervise school finances.
  4. Interpret and implement district policies and administrative regulations.
  5. Lead in the development, determination of appropriateness, and monitoring of the instructional program.
  6. Establish expectations for proper student conduct and maintaining student discipline.  
  7. Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support personnel attached to the school.
  8. Participates in the selection and supervision of all school building personnel.
  9. Conduct regular classroom observations to provide relevant and timely feedback for teachers.
  10. Evaluate all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
  11. Assume responsibility for the safety and administration of the school facility.
  12. Supervise the daily use of the school facilities for both academic and nonacademic purposes. 
  13. Plan and supervise safety and emergency preparedness plans.
  14. Delegates authority to responsible personnel to assume responsibility for the school in the absence of the principal.

 

Evaluation:

      Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations.

 

Terms of Employment

      Twelve (12) months.

 

Contract Length:                  240 days

 

Salary:                                    Spartanburg School District Six Salary Schedule
